OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Child Development Center Coordinator. The incumbent organizes, coordinates and oversees the day-today operation and supervision of the Child Development Center (CDC), a Lab School; including planning, marketing, funding, budget and expenditures, grants development and coordination, personnel and facilities; and serve as a liaison between the CDC, the Child Development and Family Studies (CDFS) Program, the College and the community. Current Vacancy: Cuyamaca College
Type of position: Full-Time - Monday-Friday
Salary: Range S-I
$36.81 - $44.75 Hourly $76,574 - $93,075 Annually (based on 40 hours per week) Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($36.81 per hour) or Step B ($38.65 per hour) on the salary schedule.
EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university with a major or emphasis in early childhood education, child development, or consumer and family studies.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in a role with increasing supervisory/leadership responsibilities, including experience working in a preschool program in a lead or supervisory capacity.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of Child Development Program Director Permit from California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (If not currently held, must obtain one within the first six months of District employment).
Valid certification in pediatric CPR, first aid preventative health practices (may be completed within 30 days of employment).
